Pathway garden lighting at Brixworth's Millennium Gardens
It’s always good to work locally and we’re really pleased with the results of this lighting project at the Millennium Gardens in Brixworth

We installed LED bollard and wall lighting along the garden pathway. It looks good, illuminates the area and creates a safe and inviting environment for visitors to enjoy.
As we often are, we were ably assisted by Peter and Simon Dolman of PJ Dolman Landscapes for the groundworks.

Lighting of outdoor spaces

Dedicated lighting for gardens and other outdoor spaces allows you to continue enjoying them throughout the year. There are plenty of interesting options to choose from.

String lights. String lights can make your garden more attractive all year round and are ideal to show off foliage and feature plants. You can run them along fences and wrap them around trees.

Rope and strip lights. LED rope and strip lights are long-lasting and you can expect at least 20,000 hours of use. They’re easily installed and can operate at a low voltage. Run them along pathways or your drive for added visibility on dark evenings and to highlight your favourite garden features.

Wall lights and lanterns. Wall lights and lanterns provide pools of light. You can mount them almost anywhere for extra visibility. They’re ideal beside doors and to light up patios and paths.

Decking lights. Lighting up your decking area adds atmosphere so you can enjoy the outdoors on dark evenings. Recessed decking lights are very effective and you don’t have to worry about tripping hazards.

Safety first

Not all lights are suitable to use outside so make sure by checking their ingress protection (IP) rating. For normal outdoor use look for between IP45 and IP65. Avoid bending cables which could lead to damage and speak with a professional electrician about safe installation.
