NEWS UPDATES

01/02/2018
It was a good evening at the Rebels Racing annual presentation for 2017. We picked up our Scottish Championship trophy for the second year along with best presented car for the third time!
We were delighted with 2nd place in the National Points, our best result yet taking it right down to the last race of the last meeting in 2017.
The car is ready for its newly refreshed engine and we plan to get a test session in soon redy for the 2018 season opener at Northampton on March 10th. Provisional fixtures can be found here, the TBC dates have since been removed from the fixture.

Following difficult track conditions at the first round in Stoke, Buxton raceway was the first real season opener at the weekend.
With 35 cars the grid was split across 2 thirds format.
Both heats went well picking up a 10th and 7th showing good pace.
In the final we just avoided a big first corner pile up (picture right/below) before hitting an oil spill and crashing out. Thankfully damage to the car is minimal and will be repaired ready for the Easter Monday round at Northampton Internation Raceway.

Maintenance Services supports Rob in his Rebels Racing series where he competes all over the country.
Weekend race meetings take place as far North as Scotland all the way down the country stopping off at Buxton in the peak district, Skegness on the East coast and as local as Brafield in Northampton along with many more stadiums throughout the year.
Rebels began life in late 1994 as a development of an idea by the founders to produce a contact racing series with the need for as little repair equipment as possible. Size and appearance was paramount in the design stage, enabling owners and drivers to be proud of their car whilst taking up as little space both at home and in transit. Powered by a very reliable Reliant 850 all aluminium engine producing 60 plus h.p. at 7500 rpm these little racers are quick and very competitive.
