It was good to meet George Clarke at CEF Live.

We treated ourselves to a day out at the City Electrical Factors (CEF) Live show at the National Exhibition Centre.

We attended some informative TechTalks, visited interesting trade stands, and met celebrities too.

It’s always good to keep up to date with all the latest products and technology available.

The MSE team made its international debut in Germany in June. We headed over to Hanover to complete cable tray containment work for our friends at Moon IT and Unique Integrated Systems Limited.

Electrical installations like this main distribution board need regular condition inspections

We found signs of burning on one of the main distribution boards during one five-year EICR inspection.

If you own or manage commercial premises it's important to have an up-to-date Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR).

If premises have been updated or remodelled, it's also a good idea to have a new EICR. You can then make sure you resolve any electrical issues quickly and safely.

We understand that busy commercial operations need to minimise disruption. We can arrange inspection visits out of hours and at weekends to power everything down safely.

This month sees publication of draft amendments to the Wiring Regulations for public consultation (DPC). Known as Amendment 4, the changes will fit in with European standards.

Grove Engineering Services in Corby created bespoke swing arm brackets ideal for our LED floodlights. They are now illuminating the darkest corners of containers during loading.

Electrical upgrades for a picture perfect cottage

Electrical upgrades for a charming cottage in Pitsford Northamptonshire

It was a pleasure to help out with electrical upgrades for this pretty little cottage in our neighbouring village of Pitsford.

The work included lighting alterations, power additions, RING cameras and bells and an electrical inspection condition report (EICR). We even hung some mirrors and other fixtures to get everything ready, although that’s not usually part of the service.
